Arizona State University, aiming to achieve carbon neutrality in its building sector by 2025, has revealed a plan to establish a campus microgrid to improve grid reliability, promote renewable energy, and reduce energy costs and carbon production. A microgrid at one of their four campuses will also provide a unique demonstration project that will benefit research and education for faculty, students, and the community.
