Posted:03/27/2012 Last Modified:08/04/2025 Views:58

The Ford Focus gets all of its power from an advanced 23kWh, high-voltage, lithium-ion battery system and boasts an advanced liquid heating and cooling system to regulate battery temperature and help maximize battery life.

To charge the high-voltage, lithium-ion battery system quickly requires the installation of an optional 240-volt charging station. It provides a full charge in approximately 3 to 4 hours. Focus Electric also comes with a standard 120-volt convenience cord, which allows the battery to charge using a standard 120-volt household outlet.
